Trying To Make Money Online?

Every day, there are tens of thousands of people, all over the world, that go onto the Internet and search for ways to make money online. The economics of the world is turning upside down! There are more and more, get rich quick scams, launched each and every day. That, it has become a true nightmare, to find any legitimate programs that a person can join.

So, in this article, I will talk about some of the things that you need to look for in your search for the right business. We will cover the basics, so that you can understand, what to do and what not to do, in your quest to make money online.

First things first: Unless, you win the lottery, there is no, something for nothing. In other words, if you land on any page, that says you don’t have to do anything to make money… get off that page. I don’t care if they say that it’s all free, there is no program that will pay you any kind of money, where you don’t have to do some work. I will not name any names, but I have tried some of these programs, just to see what was offered and there was always a catch. And, of course not even one, has truly given me anything that was guaranteed by the flashy sales pitch. So, don’t be fooled by glitz and glamour, you need substance to make money online.

That leads me to my second point: The, so-called ten dollars to riches. All you have to do, is buy my product and you will make thousands each and every month. So, we have went from the free to the paid, yet, with the same results and problems. You spend your money to get this fantastic software, that promises to bring thousands of visitors to your site, and what you actually get, is a program that does not work. And then, try to get support for the program. I can tell you there will be no response.

My third point is support: Is there, any of these fly by night programs, that have a support team? They of course all claim to have support staff, but anytime you try to get an answer to a problem the support center never gets back to you. And, if they do, it’s not in days, it’s weeks before you get any response, if you do.

So, where do we go from here: I have covered some of the problems, that you will have to face, when you look at how to make money online. Now, it’s time to tell you about what you need to look for, to become a success at making money on the Internet.

First: You need to know, up front, that you will have to work to make money. No work, no pay-day.

Second: You need to educate yourself, and find out what works and what does not work, when it comes time for you to sell your products and/or services online. For this, I recommend that you find a mentor to help you. Someone, that has made money online and will teach you to do the same. As Tony Robbins is always saying, you need to find someone, that is making money and then do what they are doing.

Third: Find a community that you can join that will help you to learn and answer questions when you have a problem. The best communities, don’t allow people to post links to opportunities, by doing that, it becomes a community of people helping people, and not just another place for people to spam links.

Fourth and final: Reviews! Before you spend any money, on any program, take a look at what other people are saying about that program. Everyone has their own opinion, and lots of people will speak out, especially, if they have been scammed. So, take the time to look at reviews.

OH, one more thing, if you find a program that you like, and the reviews are good, make sure that you go back to the original site/page that you were on, so that the person that showed you the information, gets the credit for your joining the program. In that way, we encourage those that are actually out to help us, continue to do so, by supporting their efforts.

I hope that this helps you in your quest to make money online.

Acquisition of Existing Franchised Business – What Are the Key Factors to Consider?

Many people contact me who are interested in buying an existing franchised business, for example, an existing fast food restaurant, massage or weight loss franchised business, for example. In advising them, I tell them that there are two critical aspects to evaluating this opportunity. One aspect is evaluating the existing business in the same way you would any existing business opportunity. The second, equally important evaluation is to determine if the franchise is good.

In evaluating any acquisition of a business, a prospective buyer needs to perform careful due diligence. The due diligence (or homework) should include a careful evaluation by an experienced business accountant of the financials of the business for the past few years. In addition, the legal due diligence should include evaluating any employee contracts and benefits, existing leases (both real estate and equipment) and other contracts that the business may have that are on-going liabilities or obligations. A determination of how an on-going obligation, that has been pre-paid, should be handled, is important. The attorney for the buyer should prepare all of the necessary documents, including an Asset Purchase Agreement reflecting the specific terms of this transaction, the accompanying exhibits to the Asset Purchase Agreement (for example, a Bill of Sale, a list of all assets being transferred, a list of all assets excluded, a list of any assets that are encumbered (have liens), etc). If the seller is loaning funds to the buyer for the purchase, promissory notes and other related documents will be needed. The buyer may also wish to have a lien search performed on the business and assets to ensure that there are no liens.

In addition to the evaluation of the existing business, when that business is a part of a franchise, it is important to evaluate the franchise. This evaluation should include investigation by the prospective buyer of the support and training the franchisor provides, how other existing franchisees feel about the support and training they received and continue to receive, evaluation of the franchise agreement that the buyer will be required to enter, and a complete understanding of the obligations that the buyer will have to the franchisor and the expectations the buyer should have of the franchisor. Buying a franchise is like getting married – it is important to be sure the buyer has a thorough understanding of the people involved and the business. Franchise obligations last for years and should be carefully evaluated.

Many prospective buyers of franchised businesses make the mistake of thinking that the evaluation of the existing business is all that matters. This can be a costly error. Use of experienced franchise counsel is important in protecting a buyer’s rights.
